Pilot Checkride Prep
Online Mock Oral Exams & Ground Instruction with Certified Flight Instructors
Pass your FAA checkride on the first attempt. We provide live, one-on-one mock oral exams and ACS-aligned ground instruction for student pilots preparing for the Private Pilot (PPL), Instrument Rating (IFR), Commercial, CFI, and CFII practical tests.
Why pilots choose us
A failed checkride typically costs $600–$2,000 in retest fees, additional aircraft rental, and instructor time — not to mention the delay to your training. Our certified flight instructors run a realistic mock oral that mirrors the FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS), helping you identify weak areas before exam day. You leave each session with detailed notes, a confidence boost, and a clear study plan.
Checkride prep services
- Private Pilot (PPL) Checkride Prep — eligibility, regulations, weather, cross-country planning, aerodynamics, systems, and oral exam practice.

- Commercial Pilot Checkride Prep — commercial maneuvers, complex/HP endorsements, Part 119 vs. 135, aeronautical decision making.

- Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) Prep — teaching IFR procedures, scenario-based instruction, and instrument instructor responsibilities.
How a session works
Sessions are conducted online via secure video call, so you can prepare from anywhere in the United States. Choose your certificate level, book a time that works for you, and your CFI will run a focused mock oral or ground instruction session tailored to the ACS tasks you need to strengthen. Most students book two to four sessions in the weeks leading up to their checkride.
