What to Expect on Your First Checkride
A checkride is split into a paperwork review, an oral exam, and the flight portion. Knowing the structure removes most of the day-of stress.
The three parts
Paperwork (logbook, IACRA, endorsements, aircraft documents and inspections), oral exam (scenario-based ACS questioning), and flight (maneuvers and a portion of your planned cross-country).
